Senior Project Manager - Contracting
For the management of very varied projects in the unique environment of nuclear power, Equans is looking for a Senior Project Manager.
As part of this function, you travel to the various sites of the department, in Villers-le-Bouillet, Grimbergen, Dessel - or even occasionally abroad (Germany/France).
Focus on the function
- supervision of all activities of the section in Belgium and abroad
- management of all contracts under your supervision
- site visits in accordance with the KPI expected
- provision of the resources necessary to achieve the expected results of the work sites
- ensures compliance with the QHSE management system rules, by all personnel involved in projects
- commercial development on customer sites
- supervision of the financial result and suggesting areas for improvement
- participation in drawing up budgets within your scope
- attending meetings with clients to present end-of-intervention reports
- participation in decisions on possible penalties
- lead operational meetings with your line manager
- maintaining a calm social climate
Are we a "match"?
- industrial/civil/management engineer, ideally with a nuclear orientation
- 5 to 10 years' experience in the industrial environment with team/project management
- proven experience in setting up a project charter organisation, contract/claim management, procurement, financial performance, scheduling
- good affinity with IT project management tools
- good resistance to stress
- results-oriented approach and solutions
- good interpersonal skills
- rigour, good sense of organisation, proactivity, perseverance
- mobile flexibility: travel to Belgium & 1x/month abroad
- fluency in French & Dutch with good knowledge of English and German
The Specialized Nuclear Services department is part of the Energy Transition & Nuclear Solutions division and operates as such within the Equans Industry segment. The department is made up of three departments: Proximity, Nuclear Contracting and Design, Engineering & (Fuel) Solutions. Together, they generate a turnover of 35 million euros with a workforce of 400 people. The department's mission is to provide comprehensive solutions to the nuclear sector, including on-site technical services and handling, nuclear logistics, characterizing, decontamination and decommissioning projects, design and construction of nuclear packaging and equipment, and diverse expertise in specific nuclear fields.
