We are looking for a Contractor Manager/Coordinator for Flanders.
In this role you are responsible for monitoring the subcontractors with regard to their safety and quality attitude.
Your duties include the following activities:
- carry out audits and risk analysis of subcontractors in the areas of legal obligations, safety and quality, ensuring that they comply with the guidelines and regulations set by Equans
- advise project managers regarding the collaboration with subcontractors
- collaboration with the related support departments (Dispatch/Safety/Purchasing/…) for all items regarding the subcontractors
- act as a discussion partner (SPOC) in case of problems or behavior that is not in line with the Equans standards in the field of safety and quality
- raising awareness & informing our own staff about collaborating with contractors in safety, quality and legal aspects
You report directly to the Operations Support Manager and work closely with the departments and project managers as well as with the local prevention advisor(s) and the Purchasing department.
What do you need to be successful in this function?
- at least a bachelor’s degree (preferably in a technical field)
- diploma in prevention advisor level I or II is an asset
- you have a good understanding of project management in an industrial environment and you have experience in safety and quality
- you are autonomous, analytical and organized, persuasive, trust-inspiring, a strong communicator, a problem solver
- you have the ability to put things into perspective and take things into perspective
- you are fluently trilingual: Dutch, French and English. German is certainly an asset

The Division works from 3 locations throughout Flanders. These are located in Genk, Zwijndrecht and Desteldonk.
