We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Brussels).

In this role you play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent for Equans. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their specific staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

The job in details:

  • collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
  • source and attract candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals
  • screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications
  • coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other team members
  • conduct thorough reference checks and background screenings for potential hires
  • extend job offers and negotiate compensation packages
  • develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative recruitment techniques
  • utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage and document recruitment activities
  • assist in the development of job descriptions and specifications for open positions
  • participate in job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities as needed

What do you need to excel at this job?

  • master degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (preferred)
  • minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment
  • proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates across various roles and industries
  • strong knowledge of recruitment techniques, tools, and resources
  • knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to hiring and employment would be a huge plus
  • proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English
