IT Project Leader

We are looking for an IT Project Leader (Brussels).

As IT Project Leader you manage projects within the Global Shared Line of Service Digital Workplace. The Digital Workplace SLS will be delivering services on workstations (~ 55K workstations at term), Office 365 (up to potentially 100K employees), identity and access management components (Service-Now) and other global security services (Intune, Proofpoint, CyberArk,…).

Your job?

• you are responsible for overseeing all aspects end to end of your assigned IT projects
• you set project goals and come up with plans to meet those goals
• you maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
• you coordinate/manage project team members and develop schedules & individual responsibilities
• you deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• you use project management tools to track project performance & schedule adherence
• you conduct risk assessments for your projects
• you organize all activities to guarantee proper stakeholder management with all stakeholders (IT and business) to discuss project goals and progress
• you report to the IT Program Manager or IT Program Director

What do you need to succeed in this job with the support of SLS management?

• you have a master’s degree or equivalent through experience, and have more than 3 years of relevant experience as IT project leader by preference in an IT to IT context
• a project management certification such as Prince 2, PMI or Scrum is an asset
• experience in Offshore project management is an asset
• you are skilled in people and stakeholder management
• you have the ability to understand technical issues and explain them in an easy way
• you have analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issue that occurs during project completion
• you have organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
• you have excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
• you are pro-active and have a problem solving mindset
• you are able to work in a fast-paced and very demanding environment
• you have a hands-on attitude and are open to tasks outside of the classic task description
• you are customer-oriented and have a learning mentality
• you are a true communicator (written and verbal) who can coordinate with team members and management
• fluent in English (mandatory) and Dutch or French
