Senior Site Manager

Are you up for it?

• general mission

• • ensure the overall management and assume the contractual responsibility of the multi-site contract
  • being the representative of Equans with the client and ensure the general management of the contract and its development on the site
  • ensure the budget, the resources, the possible synergies and operational efficiency
  • motivation of the operational management to respect safety
  • staffing according to the needs of the teams
  • provide all necessary support to the operational management in maintaining an efficient and robust organization
  • guarantee the quality of the services in terms of meeting deadlines, SLA’s, active communication
  • participate actively in social dialogue with site workers and their representatives
• governance role
  • single point of contact role and reference
  • ensure leadership and guidance, review business and financial performance exceptions and escalations, and monitor and proactively resolve operational issues:
    • resolve issues escalated, and further escalating any unresolved issues
    • supervise the performance against the financial targets, and ongoing agreement of objectives
    • identifying and reviewing ongoing continuous improvement and innovation activities
    • supervise change requests raised through the change control procedure
    • supervise EHS performance
    • supervise business performance and performance exceptions and escalations
• commercial role
  • meet as appropriate with client representatives to gain input on current and future business needs and ensure services implementation plan aligns with client’s strategic plan
  • work closely with client contract managers, staff, and others as required to ensure agreed levels of services are delivered and maintained in accordance with customer expectations in accordance with the agreement
  • participate in proposals for new contracts and amendments with client
  • give support to perform third party assessments of subcontractors to determine the level of their quality and EHS management systems, and compliance with client policies and client codes of conduct
  • give the support to develop a customer satisfaction review and measurement program with key-end users and client contract management teams so that the program directly reflects the performance of the service being provided
  • give support to negotiate, in good faith on behalf of client, benefits generally offered by the manufacturers and/or subcontractors of such products and services
  • supervise projects, progress, and procurement process
• operational role
  • ensure the governance of Equans local team on a manager level by controlling the overall business and escalations
  • ensure adherence of the subcontracting processes and their implementation to client policies
  • review operational reports to assure that service resources are performing to industry standards or other levels as specified in this agreement
  • identify and share new sourcing opportunities that will provide client with competitive advantages, increased efficiency, improved performance, or cost savings
• staff management
  • ensure the motivation of the staff, and of the direct collaborators in particular
  • motivate management to respect the safety and quality of the services provided
  • assess the staffing needs of the teams
• HSEQ role
  • ensure proper coordination of safety, health, and environment on the site
  • participate in site inspections and ensure general information and training
  • get involved in improving the safety of the team

Nice to e-meet you!

• you are an engineer, ideally with a mechanical or electrical orientation
• you have minimum 10 years of experience
• you are hands-on & operational
• you are familiar with team administration at a manager level
• you are bilingual French/English
