Although Equans was officially founded in 2021, its heritage stretches back much further. Our journey began just after World War II, when we were a small team manufacturing electrical equipment in a workshop in Mechelen. Proud of our legacy and the expertise developed under the historic names of Fabricom, Cofely Services, and Axima, we now bring together nearly 10,000 employees under a single brand.
Axima
Founded in 1972, Axima specialized in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Over the years, it expanded to offer innovative solutions in energy efficiency and technical maintenance.
