⚽ Episode 7 – Automation Engineer: FC Automation

On the field of FC Automation, engineering becomes a true team sport. Our coach, the Automation Engineer, leads his team of machines to victory, combining programming tactics with precision passes. A match where innovation and automation score the goals.

In this episode, we introduce the profession of our colleague Alexandre. He first joined Equans as an intern, completing his final thesis here. After graduating, he applied to Equans. Since 2021, he has been working as an Automation Engineer, and his journey is just getting started.

What does this job involve?
The Automation Engineer diagnoses and analyses system failures. He then develops and coordinates solutions to ensure a restart that meets the project’s contractual specifications. He assesses the impact and makes adjustments when needed. He also oversees projects involving the design, programming, and commissioning of automated systems, alongside his maintenance responsibilities.
