In the icy turns of the Alpine Cup, our Refrigeration Technician weaves through technical challenges. Each intervention is a controlled descent, each system a black run to tame. A cold profession, but never without human warmth.
In this episode, we introduce you to our colleague Julien. He began as an intern at Equans, where he completed his final study project. Once he’d earned his master’s in electromechanics, he chose to deepen his skills with a refrigeration technician training at Technifutur. In 2023, he returned to Equans as a Refrigeration Technician.
What does this job involve? The Refrigeration Technician carries out technical rounds at our clients’ sites to ensure all refrigeration equipment is functioning correctly. He performs maintenance when needed, detects, diagnoses, and repairs faults. He’s also responsible for these installations and ensures that all safety instructions are followed.
