Recap June

June was marked by a series of inspiring initiatives and standout moments that perfectly embody the Equans spirit: commitment, technical excellence and team spirit. Here's a look back at the highlights from the past few weeks. 👇

Sporting for charity đźš´

During the Ascension weekend, four Equans teams took part in the 1000 km voor Kom op Tegen Kanker. This solidarity cycling race, organized to support cancer research, brought together motivated colleagues ready to pedal for a cause that affects us all. A big congratulations to them!

Beverentunnel renovation in the spotlight 🎆

The renovation of the Beveren tunnel was awarded the Public Prize at the 2025 Publica Awards, in the Urban Development – Infrastructure – Mobility category. This honor highlights the quality of work carried out by Equans teams and their partners, as well as the project’s positive impact on mobility and user safety. We’re proud to have contributed to its success!

Photoshoot 📸

We organized three photo shoots at our Braine, Aarstelaar, and Brussels sites. The goal was to update our colleagues’ portraits so that our internal and external campaigns feel authentic and showcase the faces behind Equans today. Beyond boosting our brand image, participants left with professional photos, perfect for updating LinkedIn profiles or creating new team pictures.

Communities growing stronger

June also featured two key gatherings: the PM Community and the Sales Community. These events gave our experts a chance to meet, share best practices, and strengthen their bonds. Such exchanges are essential for nurturing collective intelligence and advancing our fields.

Field immersion 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

As is our monthly tradition, several shoots took place at our Neder-Over-Heembeek, Wetteren, and Braine sites. These visits highlighted the daily work of our teams on ambitious technical projects, like the new Kelvinx datacenter. These mini-reports showcase our expertise and vividly demonstrate the impact of our accomplishments.

Support during exams 🧑‍🎓

We believe in being there during tougher moments as well. That’s why we sent a little surprise package to 200 of our trainees. They received a motivational gift ahead of their exams.
