Cyber Security Expert

At Equans, as an OT Cybersecurity Specialist, you help secure operational technology in industrial environments. You combine your knowledge of automation systems with your passion for ICT and cybersecurity to keep industrial networks safe.

Your work location: Antwerp – Aartselaar

Zoom on the job:

• design, implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions for OT environments such as PLCs, SCADA, DCS and industrial control systems
• carry out risk analyses and vulnerability assessments of industrial networks and systems
• develop and implement security policies, procedures and best practices specific to OT
• collaborate with IT teams to integrate OT systems into IT security architectures
• keep up with trends and new developments in OT cybersecurity
• advise customers and internal teams on technical solutions and regulations

Come as you are, ideally with:

• bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial automation, electromechanics or cybersecurity
• SA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certificate (is a plus)
• at least 3 years’ experience in an industrial environment focusing on OT systems and networks
• experience with risk analyses and vulnerability assessments in OT
• knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, NIST and ISO 27001
• solid knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, HMI and communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP
• affinity with ICT and strong interest in cybersecurity and regulations
• communication skills and ability to explain technical information clearly
• analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• interest in continuous professional development
