Senior Internal Auditor | Data & Fraud

You carry out audits across a wide range of business domains and take our operations to the next level through data analysis and your expertise in forensic audit. You work at the heart of Equans Belux and directly contribute to strong processes, governance, and fraud prevention.

What will you do?

• build and roll out the internal audit function, including processes, methodologies and templates
• prepare and execute the annual audit plan for Equans Belux
• perform independent audits across various business processes
• use data analysis to deliver in-depth, well‑substantiated audit reports
• lead and conduct fraud investigations: detect, investigate and prevent corporate fraud
• follow up fraud risk assessments and maintain indicators for potential irregularities
• present audit results and recommendations to management and the Executive Committee
• collaborate with different management levels to strengthen internal controls and governance

Do you see a match with your strengths?

• master’s degree in applied economics, engineering, criminology or equivalent
• at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a strong background in audit and forensic audit
• good knowledge of SAP and experience in data analysis
• strong audit methodology and risk management skills
• comfortable with IT tools and administrative processes
• experience in project‑driven business environments
• high level of integrity and independence
• strong analytical skills and interest in new technologies and business domains
• excellent communication skills in Dutch and French, and good knowledge of English
