Als Stagiair Engineer Automation & AI ondersteun je onze teams in het ontwikkelen, testen en implementeren van geautomatiseerde systemen en AI-toepassingen binnen energietransitieprojecten. Je werkt mee aan innovatieve oplossingen die onze processen slimmer, efficiënter en duurzamer maken.
Jouw stagelocatie: Equans in Roeselare (West‑Vlaanderen).
Duur: 3 tot 6 maanden (in lijn met jouw opleiding en/of ambitie).
Wat ga je doen?
- ontwikkelen en programmeren van automatiseringsoplossingen (zoals PLC, SCADA, IoT)
- ondersteunen bij het ontwerpen en testen van AI‑modellen en data‑analyse
- integreren van AI en automatisering in energietransitieprocessen
- meewerken aan het verzamelen en analyseren van operationele data
- rapporteren van bevindingen en voorstellen voor optimalisaties
- samenwerken met multidisciplinaire teams van engineers en data scientists

- opleiding in engineering, informatica, automatiseringstechniek of een aanverwante richting
- basiskennis programmeren (zoals Python, Ladder Logic of automatiseringsplatformen)
- interesse in AI, machine learning en digitalisering
- analytische ingesteldheid met oog voor detail
- proactieve en leergierige werkhouding, teamgericht
- goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en/of Engels
