A 40% reduction in gas and 30% in electricity thanks to Equans!
The Wijnegem Shop Eat Enjoy shopping center has been renovated with a strong focus on sustainability and energy savings. Thanks to a combination of innovative interventions and simple yet effective solutions, electricity consumption is expected to drop by 20% and gas consumption by nearly 30% in 2024, with even more ambitious targets set for 2025.

Equans accelerates Agfa-Gevaert’s energy transition
Agfa-Gevaert chose Equans to install 103 new charging stations across its sites, enabling a reduction of approximately 250 tons of CO₂ emissions per year. Equans managed the entire project, from design to installation, delivering a turnkey infrastructure, while also planning for future expansion possibilities to support the growing electrification of the company's vehicle fleet.

Equans renews the heating system and introduces energy sharing
Equans is modernizing the heating system of the Îles d’Or residential complex by replacing oil-fired boiler with a shared installation, reducing energy consumption by 50%. This project enhances occupant comfort and improves the building’s energy performance certificate (EPC), while also generating savings through green certificates and government incentives.
