In this role, you support complex projects for distribution network operators and major industrial clients, where technical depth, consultation and collective results matter. You work close to the field, with teams and stakeholders who value quality, safety and sustainable delivery.
Your work location: high- and medium-voltage projects at distribution network operators and industrial clients
Your Equans base: Haren & Wetteren
Zoom on the job:
- manage several high- and medium-voltage projects with budgets between €500k and €10M
- support and coach project managers in achieving KPIs related to safety, finance, quality and timing
- prepare tender calculations from initial request to contract close and follow projects through to final delivery
- conduct commercial discussions with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, in consultation with the relevant stakeholders
- monitor deadlines and contribute to sustainable project results
- prepare periodic financial reports for management, with a focus on risks and opportunities
- coordinate supervisors and technicians and strengthen collaboration within the team
- work together with engineering to ensure the correct design of projects
- plan and prepare scheduling meetings with project managers and supervisors to deploy resources effectively
Come as you are, ideally with:
- a bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or equivalent through relevant project experience
- knowledge of high-voltage installations, seen as an advantage rather than a requirement
- experience as a project manager in medium to large multi-technical projects
- strong technical and organisational insight
- solid knowledge of Office 365
- a negotiation style focused on long-term collaboration
- a coaching mindset when supporting colleagues
- careful budget monitoring with attention to profitability
- leadership skills combined with strong social skills
- ease in working both independently and as part of a team
- clear communication and a focus on agreed results
- very good knowledge of Dutch and French, complemented by English
