Senior Project Manager | High Voltage

You lead projects that play a key role in the energy transition, contributing to the construction of high‑voltage substations for distribution network operators and major industrial customers. You work in an environment where technical challenge, teamwork and real impact come together.

Your work location: projects in high- and medium‑voltage, including for distribution system operators and industrial customers.
Your Equans base: Haren & Wetteren.

Zoom on the job:

• you lead several high- and medium‑voltage projects ranging from €500k to €10M
• you manage project managers and coach them towards their KPIs (safety, finance, quality, time)
• you prepare tender calculations from request to contract close and follow up projects until final delivery
• you negotiate commercially with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
• you meet deadlines and contribute to strong project results
• you prepare periodic financial reports for management, with a focus on risks and opportunities
• you lead supervisors and technicians and strengthen team spirit
• you work closely with engineering to ensure the right design for your projects
• you organise and prepare planning meetings with project managers and supervisors to allocate resources effectively

Come as you are, ideally with:

• a bachelor’s or industrial engineering degree, or equivalent through relevant project experience
• knowledge of high‑voltage installations is a plus but not a must
• experience as a project manager of medium to large multi‑technical projects
• strong technical and organisational insight
• good knowledge of Office 365
• you negotiate with a focus on long‑term relationships
• you motivate colleagues and adopt a coaching approach
• you monitor budgets closely and steer towards profitability
• you have leadership capabilities and strong social skills
• you work independently as well as in a team
• you are communicative and results driven
• you have an excellent command of Dutch and French, complemented by English
