As a Contract Manager, you ensure alignment between contracts, clients and project teams from tender to completion. You work in an industrial and infrastructure environment where contracts directly shape project delivery, risk management and long-term client relationships.

Your work location: Braine-l’Alleud & (occasionally) Aartselaar, with regular travel to project sites for on-site follow-up and coordination

Your Equans base: Braine l’Alleud

Zoom on the job:

  • analyse, advise on and monitor contractual obligations together with project managers
  • act as the link between the Mobility division and the central Contract Management department of Equans Belux
  • support projects from the tender phase through execution and completion
  • help teams interpret contract clauses, SLAs and change orders
  • support the tender team in analysing contractual risks related to planning, technical scope and financial impact
  • prepare contractual input for risk selection committees
  • assist project managers in managing contracts with clients, consortia, subcontractors and suppliers
  • coordinate negotiations and compile claim files in close collaboration with Legal
  • monitor and prioritise contractual risks and opportunities and advise on mitigation or commercialisation
  • contribute to improving internal processes and tools for contract follow-up

Come as you are, ideally with:

  • a master’s degree in engineering, business administration or law, or equivalent experience
  • at least 5 years of experience in contract management, project control or project management within industrial or infrastructure projects
  • experience with complex partnership structures and subcontractor management
  • solid knowledge of public procurement legislation
  • strong analytical skills to assess contractual risks accurately
  • proactive relationship management with an assertive and persuasive approach in negotiations
  • a solution-oriented and client-focused mindset
  • a structured way of working with strong organisational skills
  • clear and nuanced communication skills, written and verbal
  • an excellent command of Dutch and a good knowledge of French and English
