In this role, you support management and teams on wellbeing, safety and HSEQ, and you translate policy into concrete actions across several departments within Equans Services. You combine analysis, advice and regular site presence to strengthen prevention and safety awareness in Brussels.

Your work location: Brussels (Building Brussels 1 & 2).

Zoom on the job:

  • advise and engage the DEM management and hierarchical line on wellbeing and HSEQ topics
  • explain wellbeing issues and responsibilities to management and operational teams
  • identify needs, risks and focus points within the wellbeing policy of the assigned divisions
  • help develop HSEQ plans and specific task risk analyses
  • set up initiatives that increase safety awareness through visibility on site
  • monitor legislation and internal rules through planned site visits and inspections
  • support the hierarchical line with accident analyses and the definition of preventive actions
  • maintain professional contacts with clients, suppliers and official bodies
  • provide HSE advice during the tendering process for potential new projects
  • report HSE issues via internal tools such as One Page, SharePoint and the HSEQ app
  • take part in consultation meetings at entity, division and department level
  • carry out the legal duties of prevention advisor for Equans Services nv (scope departments Building Brussels 1 & 2, around 250 employees)

Come as you are, ideally with:

  • a degree as an industrial engineer or equivalent experience
  • training as a prevention advisor, minimum level 2
  • at least 5 years of experience in installation techniques
  • knowledge of ISO 9001 and VCA
  • ease with standard PC applications
  • strong analytical skills and the ability to advise and follow up closely with site teams
  • clear and respectful communication, with attention to consultation and diplomacy
  • an accurate and persistent approach, with the confidence to take initiative
  • a curious mindset and motivation to guide and coach others
  • language skills in French as the main language, and Dutch
